Frequently asked questions

How is SSC GD Constable age calculated?
Recent GD Constable notices use a 1 January as-on date (GD-2025: 01-01-2026). You must have been born not later than as-on minus 18 years, and not earlier than as-on minus 23 years plus one day. Verify the latest notice on ssc.gov.in.
Does this tool decide if I can apply?
No. It is an indicative 18–23 band-and-category check. ESM, riot-victim, and force-specific rules are in the official notice. IAMTOPPER is not affiliated with SSC or any CAPF and does not guarantee selection.
What as-on date should I use for GD 2026?
The default here is 2026-01-01 (1 January convention from the last published notice). If a newer notice uses a different date, change the as-on field and treat the notice as source of truth.
